Dr. Harald Jainta

Dr. Harald Jainta is a freelancer and has 34 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, from research & development, project management, business development, alliance management, marketing and in strategic projects regarding new business segments. He held senior management positions at AWD, ASTA Medica AG, Haupt Pharma AG, and in the last 17 years at Desitin Arzneimittel GmbH in Hamburg. Many dozens of licensing and marketing agreements were inked by him, a profound track record of improving the business of pharma companies is available.

Being a biochemist, immunochemist and pharmacokineticist his DNA belongs to mid-sized pharmaceutical enterprises with a broad background from R&D to marketing of drugs. His special passion includes modern beyond-the-pill technologies, digital health, medical devices, diagnostic, handshake between pharma and IT, CNS, oncology and bacteriophage therapies.

Dr. Jainta advises digital start-up companies looking for partnerships with pharma, he supports companies by external business and/or interim management, has a scientific mandate in a grant company and helps venture and family offices in finding attractive life science opportunities. His strong scientific and evidence-based attitude is devoted to establish networks within the diverse landscape of health care in Germany, Europe and Africa.
