Dr. Andreas Erkens

Andreas is a senior strategy consultant specializing in pharmaceuticals, OTC, diagnostics, medical devices and healthcare.

Based on more than 20 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, he supports his clients in the analysis, development, refinement, and implementation of brands, portfolio and corporate strategy.

Andreas is the founder and owner of Dr. Erkens Consulting Group located in the Rhine-Main area, Germany. Main business areas are:

Andreas holds a doctoral degree in chemistry and a diploma (M.Sc.) in biology from the University of Bielefeld, Germany.

He held various senior management positions in pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, including managing director, head of business development and marketing manager. He served as a member of advisory boards and as board member of renowned medical societies and various health organizations. As a managing director, Andreas also lead the offices of various health organizations.
